CULTURAL SITE TO FEATURE COMMUNITY CALENDAR October 16, 2003 SACO, MAINE — Dyer Library Saco Museum has launched a new web site featuring an interactive community cultural calendar. The calendar will allow organizers of community and cultural events to post information about their events on the site. Tools on the site will allow Dyer Library Saco Museum employees to review the event information before posting them in a public area. The calendar is a centerpiece of the library's and museum's new site which was designed and developed by Custom Communications working with library director Don Sharland. The site features several tools that will allow employees to post news about upcoming events, exhibits and news. The site is expected to help the organization bring greater attention to the many historical treasures it houses as well as promote its role as a cultural center for the community.
