John Gold receives Award of Merit for design of Episcopal Diocese of Maine site

Sarasota, Fla. — The Polly Bond Awards has given John Gold an Award of Merit for the design of www.diomaine.org, the web site of the Episcopal Diocese of Maine.

The judge commented on the clear structure and the ease of navigation throughout the large site, which has more than 500 pages.

The award was presented to John Gold of Custom Communications as the designer and Heidi Shott as webmaster and content editor.

The Polly Bond Awards were established in the mid-1970s by the Episcopal Communicators to acknowledge excellence and achievement in the ministry of church communication. They are awarded annually at the Episcopal Communicators meeting for a variety of categories.
